Whoa!! Kid has a TON of speed and proficiency. However, it does not sound like he has figured out how to put it all together gracefully- so it just comes off as a barrage of fast notes with little feeling to it. But then again- the kid's only supposedly 8 (I don't know- does he look a little bigger than 8?) so he'll learn all of these things with time.
