Do you guys know this band ?
It's amazing !!

It's been now a month that I keep on listening over and over their albums.
The leader was that incredible guy named Arthur Lee, I think his melody is the 2nd best I ever heard (the 1st one being John Lennon's).

Here's one of their songs :

The Red Telephone

Old news. The better question is who hasn't heard of this band? If your the one person who hasn't, go out and buy Forever Changes right now. You can thank me later. "Alone Again Or" and "Seven & Seven Is" are better songs, although "The Red Telephone" is a highlight of Forever Changes.
"Alone Again Or"-Love

"Seven & Seven Is"-Love

That was a pretty good song, although not the type of music I would buy if given the chance. More to do with my tastes than the skill of the artist, of course. Have you been looking at any of the bands recommended to your inquiry about psychedelic rock?

I read a few comments of you and you keep on saying that this song is better than this one or this artist is better than all the others...
Come on, it's a matter of taste, you can't talk like that unless all what you're aiming at is showing that you know a lot more than everyone

and talking about obvious things everyone knows, you mentioned Forever Changes, the most famous album of this band.

Dream of their Four Sail is a good one too.
No matter what You do of their 1st album Love is awesome as well.

Edit : I was talking to ABBA, not to you Aqualung.

Thanks to you, I bought Odyssey Oracle last week.
It's a F* good album, and you know that "chorus" I made in "The UFOs are gone for a better planet" ? Well this was their influence speaking (they like to make their chorus stand out and being different from the verses)

But I felt kinda disappointed when I saw that their She's not there was not on that album

And thanks to Meanceprimeaux, I bought The United States of America too. It's a very good album too, but it seems to be a little bit "deeper" than The Zombies (the kind you have to listen over and over so you can fully enjoy it)

Yes, the one to start out on. Hence why I said for people who hadn't heard Love before.

Yes, but Forever Changes is most likely to convince people that they (I can't resist) love Love. Oh, and did I mention it's better than Four Sail? If I were to recommend a Love album to someone who hadn't heard them before, I would recommend Da Copa and Love over Four Sail.

If you don't mind, I could recommend you some psychedelic rock artists to listen to. I'm not sure what's been listed so I'm just going to list the best and maybe you can give them a shot. And yes, I'm name dropping bands again, don't sue me! The best psychedelic rock artists are Syd Barrett, The Beatles, Cream, The Doors, The Electric Prunes, Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix, Jefferson Airplane, Love, Pink Floyd, 13th Floor Elevators, and The Yardbirds. Just ask if you want more psychedelic artists!

Come on, ABBA. Are you really this retarded? The way you talk makes you seem pretty intelligent, but the fact that after so many infractions and so many promises to "try harder" that you still resort to your old ways makes me question your ability to adapt to new situations like an intelligent person. You're acting like a ten year old, and ten year olds have no right to be members of online communities. If you continue to act like a ten year old, you WILL get banned, no matter how many infractions you have left.

When I said that I would try harder, I was refering to new members who didn't say anything to me. But Mycheaprecords, keeps making remarks on what I say. He got hung up on the fact that I called Love "old news", as if this really got to him personally.

I know, and I'm dealing with Mycheaprecords, as a moderator. You're not a moderator. If you think his posts are out of line you can either report the post, or you can put Mycheaprecords on ignore. You cannot become an armchair moderator, disregarding all propriety, and insult him back.

You're reading this conversation as well. You have eyes. That's why you threatened me with banning again. So where's the warning for Mycheaprecords? You posted one for me, what about him?

Before I posted your warnings in open forum, I attempted to mellow you out with PMs and infractions. Mycheaprecords is still in the PMs and infractions stage. You've shown that PMs and infractions aren't enough for you, so I've moved from private criticism to public criticism. The next stage is banning.

It's not because you called Love old news, but nevermind man, I'm sorry for what I told you, I was rude and I shouldn't have said these stupid and childish things I said to you.

Sorry ABBA
