I saw them in NYC at Piano's. They are definitely making a name for themselves.

The band has a variety of sounds. Their second EP titled "All Night, All Day" is very live sounding with a sleek 80's production, which I dig! They sound very new to me, meaning, they have a lot left in the tank. I don't think they've peeked. The lyrics are centered around responsibility to oneself. They blatantly knock religion and go about it in a very charming and clever way. The music itself is nourished with very catchy hooks and a lot of heart. They remind me of bands like "The Clash", "The Replacements", "The Strokes", "Bowie" and even "The Smiths" at points. Though, it is hard to put a finger on these guys.
As for their live show: They emit so much positive energy its nearly impossible not to get sucked in. They have a real natural and assertive stage presence. I'm into it!

So thats my review. Very positive. Amen

Here is a link to a song I found on you-tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4L8ziCpess its called "Still There"

Anyone have any thoughts?

Btw sorry about posting two identical threads. I thought I could delete the other one, which was sadly spoiled.

PS: if you dig this band. I'll be posting more on other new and up and coming bands like The Virgins for the indie folk and a band called Lightening Bolt for all you hard rockers.

The best new band in my opinon would have to be the FBR newbies The Swellers.

That animated sig bar is really obnoxious. You should get rid of it, change it to a non-animated one or something. Or I can just get rid of it entirely.
