Music for Airports is a great album to just sit back and relax to. Brian Eno makes it very clear, this album is FOR AIRPORTS!! It's just so relaxing that people on the plane will just fall asleep to in seconds. On the first track, it starts off as a piano piece and then gets into a more drone type of atmosphere. This album is somewhat like Mathias Grassow but with instruments such as the piano and violin. Highly recommended to all who just want to sit back and relax.

Overall rating: 9 out of 10

oh YEAH! brian eno is frigging amazing.
i love music for airports.

on the topic of brian eno but off the topic of music for airports...if you haven't heard the song "new career in a new town" by david bowie off the album "low". you defintely show. Eno does the second half of that album i believe (including said song) and its just incredible!

that song pumps me up and makes me instantly happy. i highly recommend it.

Is your shift key broken or what? I know you're in a hurry to spamvertise that SEO link in your sig, but it's been added to the censors, in case you didn't notice.

OK, I feel I kind of have to speak up since I'm assuming he/she was banned. usicmalove was a good poster, and really didn't deserve to be banned because he/she didn't type with proper grammar. I understand the value in typing properly, and I understand that he/she swore, but that's only because he/she was consistently reminded about the shift key. In fact, in his/her very first post, the first reply was someone making a joke about his/her shift key.

So my question is, is it really that important that it's worth losing a person with good thoughts and views? Maybe I'm bias because we seemed to like some similar music (judging from his/her limited posts), but either way, I personally don't think it's a big deal.

By the way, Brian Eno is incredible, he's one of my favorite artists. Music for Airports is really great stuff; beautiful music.

Yeah, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree then. If someone walked into my living room one day in the middle of a social gathering and was pissed off because I didn't allow smoking in my house, and started telling everyone at the party to go fuck themselves with a wiffle ball bat, and that we're assholes for having any standards or rules at all for our party, I'd probably mention a couple of times politely "Hey man, if you're gonna party with us, have the decency to step outside to smoke", and if after ignoring a couple of friendly nudges, the guest proceeded to call our mothers whores and various other beligerrent activities, they'd quickly be escorted to the door and tossed down the staircase outside.

KMA is my home, and it is my party. I don't think it's too much to ask that the people who come to my party have the ability to communicate on at least a 3rd grade level. For evidence that inviting absolutely everyone to your party results in massive failure and the catastrophic "dumbing down" of society as a whole, please refamiliarize yourself with Myspace and report back here with your findings.

Nah, Pluto exploded back in 2005 when I used my ban button for the first time. It's so powerful and was not precisely calibrated and aimed, so a terribly embarassing accident happened. They stopped calling it a planet back then since so little was left after my miscalculated ban attempt of Dark_Waltz. The debris you're seeing now, and evidence of an explosion/implosion is indeed Pluto, it just takes stuff that far away a few years to reach observers here on earth. Sorry for the trouble, I guess everyone makes mistakes. That was my first, and hopefully my last.

Well, I definately see your point, and I can't really blame you for doing as you do. KMA is yours, and you don't want a Myspace. You seem to want something more intellectual and I guess overall more civil. I respect that, completely. So well, I guess I don't have a rebuttel. I just hate to see someone with similar taste and a good sense of music go to waste because of small rules, but you do have to draw the line somewhere.

I don't consider someone repeatedely telling me "Fuck You" and "Fuck this forum" breaking a "small rule". Disrespecting the staff and our community is the quickest way to let us know you no longer want to visit KMA. So naturally, I granted the ban that he/she requested.

Yes, you are right. I was referring to the whole grammar infraction originally, but I won't disagree; you can't tell off and be rude to the staff since it's just asking to be banned.

Now this is an album that I can really use as I have some problems in getting the ZZZzzzzzzz! Maybe they may send some tracks to iTunes but can you imagine the cost of running the iTunes all night long just to listen to Brian, guess it will be cheaper to buy the CD after all...
