Camden crawl 2008

Hey, Im a huge a huge fan of the camden crawl and it is nominated for some awards at the festival awards. You can vote for them here, I really enjoyed the crawl last year so am trying to get as many votes for them as possible so it gets more publicity and them more people will sort of no about it.

Im not spamming anyone, why'd you think that? I just love music and my friend is playing at next years festival so I just want to let as many people know as possible.

Sorry if ive confused people, I never meant to. Camden crawl the festival is up for 3 awards at the festival awards and I'm just trying to get people interested in it, thats all.

I concur with RBBP here... as far as I know, we call this SPAM, Mr. Failbe. We're usually not interested in people who come here to get votes for some lame band in an obscure competition. Anyway, this is a case for the moderators.

I think spam is trying to draw interest away from the site for whatever purpose (votes for festivals, bands, links to a myspace, products, etc...), without actually contributing to the forum in a positive way. Now, I'm not one to deem what you put as a negative contribution, but I do think this may fall under spam. If you were a regular here, who contributed to the community, then told us about this, that would be different. Now it seems as if you're going to try and get some votes from us before you go on your way, without actually contributing to what we have going on here.
