Here's another Uncut Rubber instrumental, based on a great riff I came up with some time ago. Forgive the crappy sound quality - I'll be damned if I can get GP5 to export its files to anything else than MIDI.

I don't really have a name for it... go ahead and create one if you like.

Yeah, that is kind of what it sounds like. Like on Super Mario 3 when you fight the guys in the ships.

Other than the game quality (which is caused by midi), I liked the idea. I could definitely see that being something if you got some real instruments.

I can hear the guitar in this.

And it is fucking amazing.

You must play this. Didn't you say you could play guitar?

Play it. Record it on a MIC, if you have, and even if the quality is Wayne's Basement, fucking rock the shit out of it.

Because if it sounds anything like how it sounds in my head, with the right vocals, it'd be fucking awesome.

No, I can't play guitar, and the piece doesn't have any lyrics, so the "right vocals" would be a bit hard to find. Also, before you get amazed by the guitar work, note that there are actually two guitars playing slightly different parts at the same time.

Well, actually, I was listening to it as a concept rather than a song in and of itself.

Therefore,

I already realized that there was more than one guitar, as well as a representation of a myriad of other instruments that, together, would coalesce into a musical composition. I figured, especially considering that it's a midi, that it was in place of these instruments, and I thought that the guitar work especially was dope.

In any case, it's a nice concept.

I have created a name for my work - the piece is now officially titled "The Fallen Angel".

What program do you use to listen to music on your computer? It might just be that your program won't open midi files.
