This is my first dubstep track. I'm waiting for constructive feedbacks from producers with more experience in this genre. Also if you like it please subscribe, a lot more and better songs to come and woob your ears!

Very nice, I liked it a lot.

First let me say that the title is perfect because it has a nostalgic feel to it. As soon as that cello (or maybe viola) comes in it hit me pretty hard. There's something about that interval, played by strings and with that ambient reverb surrounding it, it's powerful and I love it. I swear I've heard that exact sample somewhere but I couldn't pinpoint it. I was thinking Godspeed You Black Emperor! or perhaps something off of a David Lynch soundtrack like Angelo Badalamenti's Twin Peaks soundtrack. So if that's a sample from a song, satisfy my curiosity and tell me which song.

I personally felt as though the song could have used a more hyper, dirtier drop or two, but that's just my own preference and probably not what you were going for, which is fine. If I were remixing it, I would probably have added a much dirtier modulation on the drops, and syncopated the wobble double-time for a much faster, hyper type of drop. It just felt like the wobbles were about half as fast as they should be. But yeah, that's just my preference as I typically like filthy dubstep that elicits profane comments on youtube.

But I will say that if you're going for a more minimalist, chilled type of dubstep, you did a great job at pleasing my ears. Most of the "chilled" stuff I've heard bored me to tears. You have an ear for melodies that have an impact. This nostalgic, haunting simple interval was rich enough to build a song around it, and you did well.

I'm glad you liked it. As I said that was my first dubstep track...and after 2,3years of hip-hop beats productions jumping into electronic music, especially Dubstep is damn hard and I'm still on the learning phase...in time I'll try to make way more heavy dubstep! I am a beginner electronic producer (except hip-hop beats which I made for last 2 years and a half), I do realize I got to work a lot on my basslines and drums (add the drop too here xD) and I am doing this almost every day because I really love dubstep...I've been listening to dubstep and only dubstep for the past 2months lol, also mixed dubstep first time live in a club like 3days ago. I am glad you guyz like these and I would suggest you to check this topic soon cause with time passing I'll do more filthy dubstep songs.
