I'm not sure if I'm allowed to be doing this, or if it's in the wrong spot or whatever, so I'm a little cautious, but...
This is a place where you can talk about what you did for the day. Whether it be school, sports, hang out with people, or do absolutely nothing! Haha, just talk about your day in general, or maybe something you'd like to do.
I'll start.

Today, I went to school. It's been raining ALL day here. Despite that, I had a normal, good day with all my friends in my high school, me being in 9th grade, high school is new for me and I like it. So I did that, and I'm in an after school drama club. That was absolutely amazing, I had so much fun with all my friends in club. But I got frustrated when I was told that I wasn't acting sad enough in one of my parts. But, I still had fun. We're doing the song, "La Vie Boheme" from the move/play Rent. And now I'm here, home. Dry.

What did you do today?

Great idea for a thread!

Today I worked 9 hours and was informed that my training is complete, so from now on I'll probably be working by myself, and will have a huge amount of responsibility. Next week will probably be a little stressful, but it'll be a great challenge too, and I love a good challenge.

At school right now, but I will be playing some bass guitar later as I have been slacking.

Other than that, I may play some Medal of Honor as it was just released.

Oh wow, I totally forgot about that game, I was thinking that it was gonna be closer to christmas or Nov. release. Let me know how you like it. I stopped playing MW2 because of all the hackers, been playing old school Command and Conquer lately, but always looking for another good FPS to play.

I love playing Modern Warfare 2, and Bioshock 2, but lately my brother has been being a douchebag about letting me touch his Xbox. He was fine with it for awhile, but now he's not letting me touch it.
But staying on topic, here... xD
Today, I'm supposed to hang out with my boyfriend and his sister in Walmart, and then they are going to come home with us. Cause, I need to go to walmart and get an outfit for my drama club skit, and they wanted to come with me. So that's what I'll be doing for the day.

It's really good in my opinion. I recommend finding a way to play it first before you buy it. It's definitely a required taste and takes some getting used to.

On topic: I was hanging out with my cousins playing some Madden and MLB The Show. After that I grilled outside and ate some hamburgers and hotdogs. Not a bad day.

Today, I had an extra-ordinarily fantabulous day! I made up with a close friend that I had been bickering with, and I had drama practice tonight that ran til 7pm to 9:30pm! How fun! (Which it was, cause we also got to watch the people perform their talent show acts, and they were so good!) I also fixed my iPod, and then broke it all over again. So I'll have to call the Apple company AGAIN tomorrow. Sheesh, I might as well just get a new one! Haha.

Today I had a pretty good day at work. I thought I would be working alone for the first time this week, but the guy who trained me stuck around for another week, so I'll begin holding down the fort alone starting next week. I really, really enjoy my job, and I've been much happier for the past 6 weeks because of that.

So far everything is going fine. I have to cut the grass, so that kind of sucks. Nothing a little bass guitar and Rush can't fix.

I work at a fairly large company that manufactures oil and natural gas parts, like valves, regulators, and stuff like that. I'm a quality control inspector. And no, I hadn't mentioned it before, and you're not being too nosy to ask.

Today I am eating canned ravioli for the third day in a row, not because I'm poor, but because it's all I really have until I buy groceries, and I don't want to go grocery shopping until this weekend.

That sounds like an interesting job, but it's something I'd never be able to do. xD

Yesterday, I had my first drama club performance. I thought that our whole club did amazing! If you guys want pictures or video, I should have them soon (I already have some pictures). But anywaysss, today, I had art club until 4 after school. And now, I'm home, and I'm gonna chill the rest of the day away with no homework. =D

Anyone can do it with training, but it's definitely a job well suited for detail oriented people like myself. It's probably one of those love/hate jobs, much like accounting, but anyone could do it if they wanted to.

I'd be interested in pics/vids of your drama performance. I took drama because I had to in 7th grade, and ended up having a little fun with it. I got to play Snidely Whiplash at a school assembly.

Today was just another day at work for me, but I'm going to have dinner with family tonight at Earl's Rib Palace, the best barbeque ever.

Lmao, I don't really have as much pictures of the actual performance as I do from rehearsals. But, the video is from a camera phone, and it's not that great. You really can't tell who's who, and you really can't hear people on the stage because the audience was being really loud.

So far I woke up, read some of the new Esquire magazine in bed with a coffee, got into KMA and totally blasted somebody who mentioned lady gaga as his/her all time favorite musician..
but then again- you guys know I'm not always a nice guy in the morning..LOL.
Think I'm going to mow, get up some of these leaves..looks to be a nice day outside even if it's a bit cold.

Playing with friends is always good.
as for music and musical tastes- to each their own I guess- I only voiced my concerns as to anyone thinking Ms. gaga as the end-all-and-be-all of music.
she certainly knows how to put on an entertaining show and well..she's kinda cute looking too..(ok..guilty pleasures..LOL)

I wonder.. are monsieurs May, Taylor, Deacon and possibly any family-or surviving relative of the late-great Freddie Mercury getting ANYTHING from
the Radio-Gaga references.. she should pay something- in total respect she should pay something..probably to the Mercury awareness fund.

I made this incredible dessert where I hollowed out the inside of a cinnamon roll and filled it with flan, a scoop of really frozen ice cream, and drizzled caramel sauce on top. Dear Lord... the things I think of sometimes..
now- take 2 aspirins and pray the ticker is still working ok after THAT!

Well, yes, I agree on the FACT that Lady Gaga is very good looking, and I really do think her music is interesting and catchy, along with her fashion sense. And she puts on a FANTASTIC show.

On the other hand, THAT SOUNDS FREAKING DELICIOUS. You should deff send me some. xD

Lady Gaga looks like a drag queen that got ran over by a riding lawnmower, and she has less talent than any one hit wonder from any other decade, but that's just my opinion.

Today was my first day working by myself overnight and I kicked all kinds of ass and took names. The laundry room was open early today when I got home so I'm able to get laundry done without sacrificing sleep today. I didn't even have to use my AK, today was a good day.

Hmm. I woke up, went to school, got home, did nothing, and now I am posting on KMA. One exciting day.

Tomorrow the Chicago area is supposed to experience the most powerful wind storm of the century. Should be fun as it's an excuse to stay home and do nothing.

That's a great way to spend your time here at KMA when you first join, especially if you're here to promote something commercial and you don't want to get or .
