One of my old band's lead singers and I decided to spar a little bit to burn off a pretty hefty "getting reconnected" lunch, his mom happened to be there to enjoy the video.

I ran out of breath half way through, and kept going for leg shots to try to stop the kicks, eventually I got taken out for a back palm.

Enjoy.

I would embed it, but he didn't put it on youtube, only myspace. And I couldn't make it work as a link. Sorry guys.

EDIT: Actually, it seems like MySpace links are banned. I'll try to get it up on youtube

Most sparring / fights end early because we tend to get excited and forget to breath and stay calm. You actually would be how suprised how much strength and energy you have when you relax, breath and work yourself out. Same goes for punching and kicking to control our breathing.

Yeah, he actually trains for the stuff, I was just looking to burn a few calories.

It was fun, though.

Yeah it does make for some great cardio. I'm been getting back into it for the past half year and forgot how much work it can be.
