Well, Hero was just saying how sexy British girls' accents are (well, clearly ). Anyways, I remember sitting behind some French guys at the cinema once... God, now they sounded hot. How about everyone else?

Oh, and is it weird that I find Russian accents strangely sexy?

Russian accents are the hotness on Russian broads with the right-pitch voice (one free of testosterone).

Once again, ripping ideas from me.

I love girls who have a:

British Accent
French Accent

Not so much:

Russian
Austrain (Arnold)
Or any voice deeper than mine, and not a high pitched whine (like Fran).

Clearly, you just inspire me

It's just, I was watching a film the other day with a Russian guy in, and well he was hot .

Spanish, French and Italian accents are much better though. Australian, American and German, not so much.

You should. I can't do accents at all. My dad said my Irish accent sounded Indian :S. (Apparently, he can't recognise accents either. I mean, I know it wasn't very Irish.. but Indian?!)

Oh and today I saw a video of this Latino guy singing. He had an amazingly gorgeous voice. But obviously, the sexiest accent in the world has to be broad yorkshire. xD

I don't find any accent particulary sexy, although souther accents are the least sexy, followed closely by Italian.

I did think that while I was writing it but there does seem to be a general 'American' accent. I haven't heard a hot one from there anyway. Well, the guy I mentioned above was technically American but his accent wasn't so...

To be fair, you could say the same about Britain. I mean, I know it's a much smaller place but there's a very wide variety of accents... most of them common as muck (Cockney, Brummie, Cornish, Broad Yorkshire etc). I'm guessing the accent you're thinking of is something more refined though?

Yeah, i'm thinking "Austin Powers" Vanessa (played by Elizabeth Hurley)

What would you classify that as?

She's got a nice voice. Queen's English/Recieved Pronunciation maybe or posh London? I've never heard any real people talk like that but I don't really talk to any posh Londoners so...

By the way, if you ask someone about broad yorkshire accents, they'll probably say something about 'ee by gum'. Never ever heard anyone say that either...

Call me strange, but I dig German accents. Also go ahead and throw in ones that sound similar, and American Midwestern. Just drop me off in rural Minnesota any day.

Have you ever found yourself "Picking up" a hint of an accent? I have a tendency to do this and it is quite unintentional. It is not meant as a "jab" or anything derogatory towards whomever I am speaking with- it just happens! Growing up outside of Boston- I naturally picked up some of the Massachusetts accent (think Haaadwaya store instead of hardware) -but actually this has happened only a little. When speaking with my cousins from New Jersey- I'll get a bit of their accent in my speech (think- cup of corfee and glass of warter) Honestly- those two accents I do NOT find sexy- and no offense, but the Minnesota accent I find unusual as well and far from sexy.. sorry- that's just me I suppose- anyways back to the topic..
now I have moved into the city-area of the south and I pick up a bit of southern edge to my voice only when speaking with other southerners. It is unintentional. The other odd fact is that my hearing sucks so technically- how I manage to pick up on the little nuances of someone's speech is a bit of an enigma! I can also do British accent rather well from my love of Monty python stuff.

I'm TERRIBLE at this. I pick up accents, mannerisms, phrases, words, EVERYTHING! My dad was quite distrissed when I came home last summer and I had picked up my uncle's really weird, really black laugh. It happens within minutes of speaking to the person and sometimes I won't drop it for months.

I pick up accents sometimes, mostly British. I'll watch the BBC for like five minutes and the next thing out of my mouth will have a slight British accent. It also happens randomly sometimes when I'm angry. It's weird. Once I saw this documentary about an American woman who had a head injury and developed a genuine British accent that was specific to a certain area of the country which she had never even visited...

I tend to find all non-English (as in England) accents either funny (Russian, French, Scottish) or annoying (American, Australian, Dutch), but I don't really make an issue of accents when choosing a love interest.
