Was surfing the net recently and found the song by a Russian - American pop-rock star Irene Nelson "When apples fall to the sky" which can be listened to here
http://www.youtube.com/irenenelsonmu.../7/wupxk3Ng6GQ Love the track and the performance, was greatly surprised she's the author of all her beautiful compositions (nowadays it's really hard to find a singer who can write all stuff him/herself). A slight Coldplay feeling got me during the first listen (maybe because according to some info the album was recorded with one of Coldplay producers), but the song is pretty original itself and frankly speaking after all those "80s revival Gaga-like trance" tracks, this one adds some freshness indeed, well, at least to my suffering mind And the hook.. Definitely that adds some spice to lyrics, Newton was not fully right about apples, was he? )Found some pics of Irene too, seems like she's got it all Would like to get your opinions on the song as well, guys. |

I'm guessing you're here to promote this artist because I don't see how anyone would find that as pleasing as you described it. I tried to make it through the whole song, but 2.5 minutes in I had to close it. That was pretty bad, and you can tell she's just a manufactured pop star trying to get into the US market. Sometimes that works for the 13 year old audience, but I don't see that happening for her. She's not pretty enough, you can't understand her well enough, you can't dance to her song, and there's not really any substance to her song. Sorry, but if I were trapped on an elevator and this was playing on the speakers and kept repeating over and over, I'd quickly find a way to cut the elevator's cable so I could plunge to my death.
