John Densmore Tribaljazz (6-6-08)

John Densmore of the Doors in his jazz band Tribaljazz is playing at the Keswick Theater in Philadelphia, PA. This is very interesting music. Its ethnic jazz that incorporates African and Latin Rhythms. If there are any doors fans in the Philadelphia area there are tickets still available and they are pretty cheap. The Keswick is a very small theater too, there isnt a bad seat in the house. I saw porcupine tree there a couple years ago and it was a great concert.

Are you representing the Keswick Theatre? If so, keep us updated on who else you bring in to play and post the address and phone number if you'd like. If not, thanks for recommending your fellow Philly area people to go check out Densmore's jazz project.

Densmore is one of my favorite rock and jazz drummers (I'm also a big DOORS fan). I'm sure it would be a great show. Too bad I won't be in Philly this year. Porcupine Tree is a cool band too. They sound similar to early Floyd.

im not representing the keswick, i just wanted people to know about the concert because nothing at the keswick is advertised for except in their newsletters that come every month or so.

and this site isnt letting me post a link to the keswicks website, so just search keswick in google and its right there.
