Judas Priest!

Until recently, I knew only a few Priest songs, most of which were from British Steel and Point Of Entry. But I just discovered that these songs were actually from the band's softer period. Upon this discovery, I immediately started downloading some of their earlier and later songs, such as "Hellrider", "Metal Meltdown", "Painkiller" and "Judas Rising"... and I've come to the conclusion that these guys SERIOUSLY rock.

Judas Rising is a great song. I'm not a big fan of Painkiller. Have you ever heard the song "Electric Eye"? That's one of my favourite songs, and I for some reason always associate it with Judas Rising.

Man, I love Judas Priest...

I love Judas Priest, especially Breaking the Law, which is fun and easy to play.

Judas Priest is an awesome band. Love "Electric Eye" and their version of "Diamonds and Rust" (far better than the Joan Baez original!) Hard to say what the ultimate favorite song by them is, but "Sinner" has always been at the top of my list. I got "The Definite Collection" about a year ago- great stuff but some of the songs are/were poorly mixed so I can't quite make out all of the lyrics on the older songs (Halford sang through a LOT of chorus effects back then so some of this sounds like a crappy old radio). Also- GLAD the band got smart and hired Halford back into the fold- stupid of them to fire him in the first place.. but that opens a whole other can of worms..
