Welcome to the Suggestions phase of the Keep Music Alive Music Hall of Fame!

First, you should read this announcement to get familiar with how the whole process works.

This particular subforum is a place to suggest artists that you think should become nominees in our monthly voting. Each month, you will find a new thread here around the first of the month. In these monthly thread, I will suggest a particular genre or classification, such as "synth-pop", "romantic era classical composers", "60's folk" etc...

Once you see a monthly thread with a category, you should take some time to ponder who YOU think is the best artist that falls into that category, and post your suggestions here. You're free to post more than one suggestion, post as many as you'd like as long as they all meet the qualifications (1st studio album released more than 10 years ago, and at least 3 studio albums produced during their career), and fit into the category well.

After one week of being open for suggestions, the suggestions thread will close and the second phase will begin. I will personally select 3 nominees from all of the suggestions you all have made. Those 3 nominees will be announced and a new thread will be created in the Debate/Voting Forum, where you all will be able to debate who you think should win, and you'll be able to cast your vote here as well. And if you have any questions about how the KMA Music Hall of Fame works, or have any feedback about our process, feel free to post your thoughts in the Site Feedback forum.
