Well, I've seen all of these music recommendation pages and I figured I'd make my own. Here you'll find whatever bands grab a hold of my attention and refuse to let go until I share their greatness with you guys. This will range anywhere from bands such as Madyday Parade and All Time Low, to Zombie Girl and Ayria, to Trivium and Acid Bath and back again.

Nice, glad to see you decided to make a recommendation thread too. I look forward to seeing who all you add, maybe I'll get some ideas for new artists to check out.

Ah, I LOVE recommendation threads.

Aural Vampire - good stuff there. I don't hear a lot of electronica with female vocalists (even though I really love the sound of a female vocalist over some nice electronic beats), so this is a nice departure from what I'm normally exposed to.

Combichrist - That's darned good industrial music. Very complex for the genre, not just that wall of noise that a lot of industrial tends towards. Reminiscent of Rammstein, which I love. Good one. I found This Is My Rifle at last.fm.

Acid Bath - Hmm... Can't say I was particularly looking forward to something called "sludge metal", but I was pretty pleased. Probably not something I could listen to for exceptionally extended periods of time, but it's definitely listenable. It will probably be a good start into some new genres of metal. The beginning is especially nice, before those hard guitars start up. They've got a lot of stuff on last.fm, so I'll be listening to them and testing out the "sludge metal" waters.

You're right...Acid Bath is pretty bad ass. I'm not much into sludge or stoner metal though, but they are good for their genre.
Arch Enemy....Right on, Cyanide. \m/

Ah, that's not bad at all.

I had to find the video on youtube, though, cause that noise at the beginning was annoying and I couldn't skip past it.

I looked at some other videos on youtube, too, and it's good stuff.

I would have gone on Youtube for the video, but the computer I was on blocks it. That's why it alternates between yahoo music and youtube, different computers.

I'm actually finding some nifty stuff in here.
Do you know any good indie bands like Minus The Bear or anything?
