Lady Gags's new "album"

I just sat and listened to the entire cd the other day, and tho i am a fan of Lady Gaga sometimes, i was very disappointed in the songs on this album. None of them even touched her earlier stuff, and after being forced to endure gagaville on my farmville on facebook, i was sure that the cd had to be great! Boy was i disappointed.

Have any of you listened to her new stuff and what do YOU think?

Haven't had the chance to listen to her entire album, but listened to most of her songs. Gaga's songs are really catchy after a while of getting used to! I still think she's very talented and she's her own unique individual that wouldn't give in to conformity.

personally..I take reviewing Lady Gaga's music the same as I would analyzing turds in the toilet bowl in hopes it will look like a Rembrandt.

I really hope folks use that and quote me as much as they see fit..

She knows how to promote herself as a visual artist - if you could call it that.
However, odds are she does not write the songs..or play much of the instrumentation I would hear..so she lost the "talent vote" on those.. and then her voice needs to be heavily processed to get her to sound in tune..

Her new album is so-so. Only three tracks I like to listen are great: Born This Way, Bloody Mary, The Edge of Glory. Well it's not her best album though.

I have not heard the new one but to review her older work, I couldn't stand the Fame besides a few tracks; however, The Fame Monster is brilliant and the entire album has replay value.

First of all, where did you hear that "Born This Way" isn't selling well? It's sort of the fastest selling album of all time. O.O You probably heard that the sales went DOWN and that was because Amazon.com was previously offering the album for $0.99, so of course a lot of people were purchasing it when it was at such a great price.

Second of all, there is this thing with Lady Gaga's music that you have to listen to it a few times before you start to enjoy it. It was the same with me for The Fame, The Fame Monster, and Born This Way. And all the top rated comments on the songs for Born This Way on YouTube usually say something like this, "At first I didn't like this song, now I LOVE IT!!!" So I can tell that I'm not alone. I advise you to listen to the entire album two or three more times, you will probably like it.

And thirdly, the person who said Lady Gaga has no talent is an idiot. I can respect opinions and I am not hateful but that person is flat-out stupid. They clearly have done no research on her whatsoever and they just said it because her music isn't their forte.
