I wonder if anyone knows the meaning of the song Furious Angels by Rob Dougan? Below are the lyrics from the stlyrics.com site.

So far I believe there has been a car accident and the guy has fallen in love with the girl who is probably dead or are at least about to die. But then I don't understand all the other stuff he sings, does anybody have a clue?

I don't understand it like that at all. I understand it more as being the guy is in love with a person that he really doesn't want to love.

Ok, but what does he mean with "angels will defend me" and "like a sentence of death"?
And I agree with you that he doesn't want to be in love with her, because at the video, she dies in the car accident, and therefore he suffers cause now that she's dead he can't have her. But no matter what "furious angels" will bring him back to her, to the memory of her?

Like a sentence of death goes back the idea that he can't escape the love. Angels will run to defend if he leaves I guess maybe they're defending him against her memory, but I don't know.

Yeah, that's how I understood it.
