Personally, I thought this was a great album. It's not like newer bands, it kind of goes back to folk music (in my opinion). So here's my review:
Please remember, I'm just a newbie, this is what I thought of the album.

1.) Sigh No More Not my favorite, but is beautiful. It sounds like a song my school chorus would sing. But, as it goes on, it gets more energetic, and the lyrics get more optimistic.
"Love, it will not betray you, dismay or enslave you, it will set you free. Be more like the man you want to be.

2.)The Cave Probably one of my favorite on the album. I adore the guitar in the intro, and the lyrics are well put. I also like how easy it is to pick out every instrument.
"Cause I have other things to fill my time, you take what is yours, and I'll take mine. Now let me at the truth which will refresh my broken mind."

3.) Winter Winds Another favorite. It gives out alot of imagery to me, and for some reason, (maybe it's because I'm a writer myself), but the first set of alliteration always sticks out to me when I hear it.
"As the winter winds littered London with lonely hearts, all the warmth in your eyes led me into your arms."

4.) Roll Away Your Stone The beginning gives off a very celtic feeling to me. Catchy lyrics, very simple rhyme sceme. Good song to jump around to, and you can feel their passion by the end.
"It's not the long walk home that will change this heart, but the welcome I recieve with the restart.

5.)White Blank Page Beautiful guitar intro. Beautiful lyrics, beautiful everything. Mumford and Sons really out did theirsevles with this one.
"Oh, tell me now, where was my fault in loving you with my whole heart?"

6.)I Gave You All You can tell they put alot of soul into it. From the piano (or soft) tone it the beginning, to their outburst of a fortissimo impact, and then back to piano at the end.
"I close my eyes for a while, and force from the world a patient smile."

7.)Little Lion Man The song that hit mainstream. Which is undestandable; it shows their style, their lyrical word play, and creativity.
"Weep little lion man, you're not as brave as you were at the start."

8.)Timsel Gives a good calming feeling, it makes me feel at peace...and I'm 14. The lyrics give hope, and it kind of just makes you want to cry.
"You are not alone in this, as brothers we will stand and we'll hold your hand."

9.)Thistle And Weeds Has a very mystic feeling, and it gains a powerful energy as it goes on. Piano is beautiful, as always with this band.
"Look over your hills and be still, the sky above us shoots to kill."

10.)Awake My Soul Simple guitar intro, but it grows into something more. As the dreamy lyrics kick in, and the base thumps, and the piano creeps in, you can feel your heart rise with the beat. Pretty soon, you wanna just run with it.
"In these bodies we will live, in these bodies we will die. The way you invest your love, you invest your life."

11.)Dust Bowl Dance It gives a huge impact on the album. Mumford and Sons have been sad, hopeful, happy, dreamy. But we've never really seen them angry....
"Yes sir, yes sir, yes it was me. I know what I've done, cause I know what I've seen. I went out back, and I got my gun, I said, 'You haven't met me, I am the only son.' "

12.)After The Storm They definetly saved the best for last. This song gives out so much emotion, so much love. It really makes you think.
"But there will come a time, you'll see, with no more tears, and love will not break your heart, but dismiss your fears. Get over your hill and see, what you find there, with grace in your heart, and flowers in you hair."

All in all, amazing band, amazing album.
