My dad made a song

My dad wrote this little ditty right after he got his effects pedal and realised there was an echo effect on it. For Christmas break, since I was all bored, we decided to record it and make a comedic music video to go along with it. What do you think?

That was awesome man. I didn't even know your dad wrote music. I liked the guitar, it was really quite well done. The music video was great too, I think you may have inspired me to make my own video at some point.

The song is really nice (not my style, but anyway), and the video goes quite well with the song!

You're really lucky having a dad who knows and plays music. Really.

Tell him to write some more, it just gave me a little mood levelup

Nah, we came for it jointly. We were sitting around bored. We wanted to make a movie. He decided to do a music video at first, but once we decided what to do it's pretty evenly split for who came up with what. I came up with the idea of sitting randomly on the pew while my dad played, and the idea of the completely emotionless solo, and some of the other smaller stuff.

He dances like that all the time at home (he's kind of weird) and he decided it would be good to dance like that in the movie, too.

What an odd video...I LOVE IT!!! I actually liked the song and the way it was sung. It was serene, even though the video was kind of goofy. But that's what I liked about it: the contrast. Tell me...will you and your dad be making more videos?

I'm glad that you said that the music video was supposed to be funny, 'cause I laughed so hard that I ALMOST wet myself...I think...uhhhh..yeah, ALMOST. Great job, seriously, I wish my day was filled with more videos and songs like that. What a happy time I would have.

Wow, that's great! I'm glad people are finding it so funny. It's hard to remember how funny the stuff is when I've seen it about a hundred times during editing.

He has a couple other songs, but hasn't recorded them ever. He said though that next time I'm home we would record another one.
