In need of some feedback

Hey Music Lovers!

I'm brand new to the forums here and I'm just hoping to have found a place to receive feedback and constructive criticism on my work. I'm not exactly an aspiring musician but it is one of my great loves.

You sound like you have a potentially great voice but are a just a bit too timid to reach your full potential. It's hard to judge by this particular medley, but your voice sounds pretty good. Without seeing more, I would offer the following advice. Work on your "R's", there were a couple of examples early on where your voice kinda went from smooth to clunky when you hit an "R" sound. It might have just been a coincidence that they were both on "R's" though, which leads to point two. I can't put my finger on it, but it just sounds like you're afraid to project fully. Maybe it's lack of practice with mic control, maybe it's lack of practice time in a place where you feel comfortable really belting it out, maybe a bit of both. So yeah, work on your "R's" and gaining confidence and mic control to not be afraid to use the full dynamic range of your voice.

That said, you do have a nice voice, so any time you invest on honing it will be time well spent.

Thank you! I really appreciate and agree with your assessment. I'm naturally on the timid side so I suppose that comes out in my singing. You hit the nail on the head! I'm definitely going to try to work on these things.

Thank you! I do have some originals but I want to smooth them out more before posting those.
