new weezer album - hurley

Who's excited for it?! Any thoughts about it? I love the album cover and I already pre-ordered it from epitaphstore.com

I won't be preordering it, I might if they did a release like Radiohead did with In Rainbows. Rivers Cuomo is a brilliant musician, but I'm not sure I like where they have been taking their music to for the last few years. Their early stuff was decent, but their later work is too commercialized and overproduced for the MTV market. And even their early stuff doesn't really showcase the true talent that Cuomo has. So they've always been one of those MEH bands where I enjoy a few of thier songs but don't really follow them closely at all.

I would prefer a new "The Rentals" album at this point. Thought Weezer's last offering was too weak.

Yeh I'm interested in it too. Weezer is awfully hit or miss for me.
