This album, featuring the so-called Numa Numa song, has what I feel is an unwarranted bad reputation. It's mostly due to this guy and others who hopped on the numa numa bandwagon. It's really quite a good album, though, and anybody who likes synthpop should really sample the rest of the album.

O-Zone are from Romania, so most of their songs are in Romanian, but who needs to understand them when the music is so great?

The first song is Dragostea Din Tei, which is the Numa Numa song. You've probably heard it. In fact, when I went to six flags two summers ago, they played this song in the waiting area for one of the rides. It's a fairly quick song with really upbeat music. It's a true dance song.

The next song is Despre Tine. It's a slower song, but still good dance music. It's also a little darker, but O-Zone isn't a group I would consider at all dark. Just compared to the other songs it's a bit dark.

The third song is called Sarbatoarea Noptilor De Vara. It's another slower song, but it's somehow not so dark. If anybody knows who Eifel 65 is, the lyrics in this song are very reminiscent of them. They auto-tune their voice in the same manner to get it that immasculated robot type sound.

De Ce Plang Chitarele might be my favourite song. It's not too fast for my tastes, and the lyrics are very nice. The melody is just awesome.

Fiesta De La Noche is okay. It's either live or, more likely, faux live. It's very catchy, though, even though it's not the most enjoyable song on the album. Although it's not slow compared to the album, for some reason it just doesn't sound very poppy. I don't know why.

Printre Noir is their good slow song. It's got some orchestral instruments at the beginning and a piano type thing, before adding the synthesizers. This song is probably the darkest on the album although, again, they're not really that dark of a group. This song might actually be my favourite on the album.

Oriunde Ai Fi sucks balls. That's all I can say.

The rest of the songs are good, but don't really bring anything new to the table that hasn't been seen in the other songs. Numai Tu is another darker song, although faster than the other "dark" songs. Dar, Unde Esti is kind of a boring song but it's a really, really, really good dance track, though. Nu Ma Las De Limba Nuastra has more of an "ethnic" sound to it than the other ones. It's not quite a good dance track as the others, unless you're doing salsa or something. And Crede-ma, the last song, is also less of a dance track than the rest.

The album also includes O-Zone's really hilarious music video for Dragostea Din Tei. It's really gay and really hilarious, and by itself would be well worth the price of the CD. They have a slightly different, slightly shorter version on YouTube that does not do it justice at all.

Anywho, that's about it for this album. I suggest getting it if you really like dance music and synthpop. And don't listen to all the people who will make fun of you for it. They don't know what they're talking about.

My language teacher always played the O-Zone CD. It was good and fun to listen to at first! After three or four days, it was not even the slightest fun to hear. I didn't enjoy the album very long.

It was about 40 degrees celsius, and I wasn't thinking straight. I was just 10 or 11 years old, so I was kind of misleaded when it came to music.

well. I do not like them. But then there`s actually a chance that you might. But I do not think so anyway. It`s typical Russ-music. You remember I told you about this Russ celebration in Norway? It`s for very drunk parties only.

Actually, my brother was listening to one of the songs recently, and I was stading in his doorway watching what he was doing on his computer, and I thought to myself, "Huh. this is a pretty good song." I asked him who it was and he said Eifel 65. I left very shortly thereafter.

Maybe it's eurodance! Maybe it's not dancey enough.

But in my defense, I wrote that two years ago, before I became more knowledgeable on all the different genres of electronic pop music.

...Oh... Sorry for the bump, I didn't notice, I thought the bar under the threads were newly made threads or something.

Oops.

EDIT: Also I meant eurodance, I don't know why I wrote europop. Haha.
