Hey!

We're a new swedish pop band. We play pop with distorted guitars or you could say that we play pop with a touch of rock. Anyway...we've just recorded a new EP called "Nobody Can Be Uncheered With a Balloon" and it's our first. It contains four tracks all of which I've attached to this post. Would be much appriciated if you could take the time to listen to at least one or two of our songs and let us know what you think. It's our first time in a studio so it's not perfect but overall it sounds pretty good I'd say.
Check out our myspace too at myspace dot com slash theluxeband (this is my first post so apparently I'm not allowed to post the direct link)
Take care!

/Niclas

Thanks for uploading your music here on your first post! A lot of people don't seem to understand, so I appreciate that you took the time to actually read our rules and stuff.

As for the music, it's pretty good. The vocals aren't very strong (they can stray out of tune occaisonally), but other than that, I really like this style of music.

Coldplay and The Killers mixed would be a good thing? Lol, I beg to differ. I mean Coldplay are pretty good, but The Killers? You have to be joking.

A Untitled Situation: Softer here, yet pretty good, remembers me of some "Damien Rice". Emotional guitar solo, I liked that. Man this is my favorite song from this thread.
Damien Rice is great. His debut album, O, was incredible.

Oh, and virtualxfactor, if your looking for an influence, look no further than ABBA, a Swedish group that mastered Swedish Pop/Rock. That is the template any Swedish Pop/Rock artist should follow.
