The file is weird. It keeps opening winrar and not playing any music.

it's zipped. lets see if i can upload a .wav now.
Edit- nope. for some reason, this is the only format i can upload in. you'll just have to actually use winrar. Last edited by alec.james : 11-17-2008 at 01:43 AM. |

That's a really good start to a pretty funky song.
Good work so far. ![]() |

You probably can't upload it because it exceeds our maximum filesize of around 16MB. I recommend using .mp3 or .ogg for sharing in the music showcase. Wav's are just too big.

Gotcha.
The wav is actually only 12.1, but I'll give mp3 a shot. (wow- okay, you were right) Last edited by alec.james : 11-17-2008 at 10:26 PM. |

I Like it! It's got a great groove to it. Find myself nodding my head to the beat and the guitar riff is both technically different from normal rock-guitar riffs yet I can keep humming it after the song is over.
PS- I listened to the mp3 version and it worked fine- but it cut off too soon. waiting for something to go over this- either some lyrics or some sort of transcendental instrumental melody (like almost a guitar or muted saxophone sound to give it a trance-like sound) . Just an idea. all-in-all sounds good. also- the TIME you recorded this.. sounds like another case of "midnight music mania"..LOL

Actually, I recorded this in the afternoon, but insomnia is a big issue for me. You ever see fight club?
Pretty accurate, just not to that extent. Anyway, as soon as I start getting some more rest, I'll slap a groovy tune over that and sing. I have the rest of the song written... I'm just a perfectionist when it comes to recording. If I don't get it just right in one try, I usually come back another time, probably to rewrite most of it anyway. Too bad it lasts less than 1 minute ! Make it longer and it will be perfect ![]()
