Just search facebook for The Royal Cartel to find the band's fb page where all the music is listed.
The Royal Cartel who hail from Guildford has become one of the hottest groups in Southern England and in the six months since they formed have managed to: * Release a brand new EP with Mike Hunter formally of Parr Street Studios in Liverpool * Shoot a music video at Ealing Studios with the London Film Met in studio 1 * Been requested to come back to famous London venue WaterRats due to likeability and the ability to continuously pull a strong crowd * Have sold out Guildfords most popular live music venue, The BoileRoom * Have shot a 45 live set in HD supporting Marillion to 4000 people in Rotterdam, Holland Having already received interest from the likes of RoadRunner and EMI records, they provide an outstanding live show which excites, stimulates and leaves the audience with no choice but to move. The Royal Cartel is as exciting to watch as they are to listen to, comprised of four young artists doing what they do best-playing great songs LZI HAYES- on bass guitar, at 25 has already made a lasting impression on the Guildford/London music scene with her renowned session work. Lzi is an exceptional bass player with a dominating stage presence, heavily influenced by the sounds of Motley Crue and Cheap Trick, and is the inspiration behind much of The Royal Cartel's music. MIKE MOSLEY- at 23, this American guitar player combines emotional guitar playing showmanship with the raw power of influences such as Dimebag Darrell and Stephen Carpenter. Mike assists on vocals, and his songwriting ability is a perfect blend with Markus' and Lzi's. JAMES PALMER- also at 23, on drums, James Palmer is high energy personified. When James picks up his sticks, no one sits still. A well known drummer around the Surrey and London areas as something of a prodigy, James' showmanship and ability are unequaled. He is another important component uniquely contributing to The Royal Cartel MARKUS FLAHERTY- lead singer, rhythm guitar player, and predominant songwriter in The Royal Cartel. Markus' voice is sure to have any audiences full attention. Markus commands the stage and his every move is watched intensely. His unique styling and versatile range take influences from Eddie Vedder to Dave Matthews. He is the final piece in what is The Royal Cartel When Lzi, Mike, James, and Markus came together, the magic was instantaneous and The Royal Cartel was born. The creativeness of these four performers has combined to make a powerful music that will not soon be forgotten. Their music and showmanship are a new driving force in rock. The themes which run through their songs involve the audience in a musical reality of day-to-day living, expressing the joys and tragedies to which today's youth can relate. |
