I thought I could introduce you a bit to a German band...they´re called "Schandmaul"...that means "malicious tongue" in English. They do their songs in German.
My fave song is called "Vogelfrei"...that means "free as birds" and it tells about thiefs and chiselers in the middle age time. I guess I could not tell you more about the band as there´s written on myspace. www./schandmaulmusic I hope some of you will like them...  |

You should tell us a little about them, though.
 Most people probably won't go there. I for one am curious about them, but I hate going to myspace, so I won't. Also, we would like to be a site full of useful information, not just links to useful information.

Hehe, okay...so...where to start...?!
At the beginning there have been 5 musicians from completely differnet bands. But they lived in the same area of Germany. Actually they came from Munich. Their first ever written song is called "Teufelsweib"...that means something like "devil´s wife"... Their first album has been "Wahre Helden"...which means "Real heroes". They got a bit more well known when they have been invited to the big German metal and medieval festivals. Their most well known concert might be the one in the Munich´s circus "Krone". They have recorded 5 albums by now. Band members are: Thomas Lindner - vocals Anna Kränzlein - violin, hurdygurdy Stefan Brunner -drums Martin Duckstein - guitar Birgit Muggenthaler - flute, backpipe Matthias Richter - bass Yup, that´s it... |
