For the teacher education program I'm in we have to do a couple of in school experiences (culminating in a semester of student teaching). This semester is my first, a thrity hour experience in a high school math classroom. It's really interesting to see the differences between a high school and a college, and between that high school and the one I went to. I will have to teach two lessons to the class at some point during the semester, and I hope I can do it well. I'm kind of nervous about the experience, because if it doesn't go well I will essentially have wasted two years of my life, but I think it will be fun, too.

![]() oooh...and you should - one day - see the differneces between German school system and American school system...I have friends in the USA...so I know that people there keep much closer together than here...in Germany every student seems to be a "fighter on his own". Thatīs sad somehow. |

My best friend went to the USA to study there. Sheīs in South Carolina for almost three years now and she said that people are to honest to lie...or at least most people. In Germany students would lie straight to their teachers if itīs any advance for them...i donīt like that.
