This forum looks like the place for me to tal kabout the kind of music I like. Screamo. Of course it's not the only genre I listen to, but it's definatley the best.
Favorite bands are: Underoath Alexisonfire Orchid Saetia Circle Takes The Square Leathermouth Cancer Bats Titan A Day To Remember Miss May I Dr. Acula Norma Jean Hot Cross At The Drive-In etc etc It may not look it, but I DO like other music.I'm setting up a last.fm account so I'll get back to you on other bands. ![]() |

Welcome to KMA!
![]() I do not enjoy screamo whatsoever, but it's good to have you join us and season the stew with a little different flavoring. ![]()

Welcome to KMA. Screamo's great, not my favourite genre though. Circle Takes the Square's As the Roots Undo is one of my favourite albums, however. Also, are you sure At the Drive-In doesn't go under Post-Hardcore?

Yes, ATDI are post-hardcore. I just included them because hey're one of my favorites and have had influence on the screamo genre.

Ah, okay then. Yeah, At the Drive-In's Relationship of Command is also one of my all-time favourites, was listening to it just today actually.

Welcome.
Glad to see you like the good kind of screamo (well, Norma Jean and a couple others are garbage, but for the most part). I'd bet lots of people in this thread who dismissed it are basing their judgment off the shit screamo. Not a fan of Thrice, though? |
