This is an update of that song I posted recently, the Sigur Ros (church) type one. I added a bridge and I worked it back into the original theme of the track. I'm probably going to build it up a little more, differently from the first time around of course, and work in into a conclusion. It'll probably be about 3 minutes or so when I finish, so there won't be much more, but I'd love to know what you think of how it develops. Does it get away from the main theme enough before it goes back to it? Do you like the transition of it all?
By the way, I've thought about using the monologues from the members here over the bridge section, fading in through different spots here and there. I still have to think of all the questions to ask though. Anyways, thanks in advance for listening, and I hope you enjoy. Last edited by Cirrus_Minor : 10-20-2008 at 01:48 AM. |

I'll listen to this and the other one later, though - I'm a bit preoccupied at the moment.

Very nice piano, it came in great forming the base of the song. I can't say much because it was just piano. Still, I think it was great. keep working on it

That's pretty good now. I think you do a good job of keeping the melody etc. consistent enough for this type of ambient piece. Nice work. |

Wow, I love the atmosphere of the song. Now I see why you named "In the Sky".
I'd say it doesn't even need any lyrics, it sounds perfect like that. Keep it up, I'm looking forward to hearing the final version when you finish it ! ![]()

Thank you, though I think you may have the wrong thread. In the Sky is the other track I posted.

Ooops sorry !!
Well, should I post my review of this song here or in "In The Sky" thread ? ![]() Here's what I thought : Man, you're doing an amazing job with the atmosphere of your songs... you should write movie soundtracks... ever thought about it ? ![]() That's definitely a good start, and once again, I think there is no need for any lyrics or singing part. PS : this is about both of your songs : I really like the way you mix things and the way you play with our ears It's very professional, keep it up ![]()
