Give these a shot if you're looking for instrumental metal type stuff.
Pelican Dysrhythmia Apocolypta Kong Mastery Anomaly Racer X 65 Days of Static Liquid Tension Experiment Electro Quarterstaff Russian Circles Mono Planet X And not so much metal, but excellent instrumental music that can get pretty heavy at times - Godspeed You Black Emperor! and Explosions in the Sky are two bands you should check out. Hope that helps ![]()

Transylvania - Iron Maiden
Ghenghis Khan - Iron Maiden Eruption - Van Halen Orion - Metallica Bad Horsie - Steve Vai Cliffs of Dover - Eric Johnson Unlike the rest of the instrumentals I suggested, Cliffs of Dover is not metal or hard rock, but it is an incredible piece of guitar work that I strongly recommend. |

Listen to lotus feet by Steve Vai, not metal, but its PHENOMENAL, and this coming from a guy who thinks Vai is overrated and pretty full of himself sometimes, and just a showoff. Better yet, watch this version he did live right here... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l7wRUxBM3io
Its played with a full live orchestra, and if those SCREAMING bends don't send shivers down your spine, then something inside you must be missing.

Cliffs of Dover is a fantastic piece of work. Seriously.
Some other good instrumentals include: Erotomania by Dream Theater - Way proggier than Dragonforce, but cool. Plenty of Yngwie Malmsteen stuff. Way shreddy, if not a bit ridiculous sometimes. Black Star is fantastic though. Trans-Siberian Orchestra has some pretty metal stuff, but it's really just awesome classicalish stuff in the end.

Um, sorry hardkiss, but you might wanna hold onto your thanks. Those songs were directed to the original question. I don't know any songs that match what you're looking for. Sorry.
