Can you listen to just one song over and over and never, ever change it to another? You know, those songs you never get tired of.
I have a few... 1. Freebird- Lynyrd Skynyrd: I can listen to this song all day and always get pumped when the solo hits, i can listen to this all the time and never change it. a few others... Sweet Child O Mine- GNR Most Brooks And Dunn songs All SRV songs Floods- Pantera Money- Pink Floyd Cat scratch Fever- The Nuge just to name a few. |

This list will probably make people groan, because it's going to be so inclusive, but it's true.

Crowded House - Don't Dream it's Over Chris Isaak - Wicked Game Los Prisioneros - Estrechez de Corazon Queensryche - Silent Lucidity Alan Parsons Project - Eye in the Sky The Depeche Mode album called "Catching up with Depeche Mode" |

I guess for me it would depend on my mood, but the Murderdolls cd has been on my mp3 player for months, I still listen to it every day, and I don't get tired of it. But as I said, it depends on the time, I had the same thing with some Belphegor cd's as well, a few months ago.

I've done my fair share of emo bashing on this forum, and will continue to do so on a regular basis. So it pains me to admit that one of my favotite songs is "The Ghost of You" by My Chemical Romance. IMO they are a true rock band. Unfortunately a bunch of whiny teenagers adopted them as their own and now they are shoved into a category that they may not be able to shake off. The Black Parade album should be ranked right up there with "The Wall" and the "White Album". Leave it to kids to ruin good music. THEY WERE MINE FIRST DAMMIT!!!!!

IMO any song can become tiresome. I can't tell you how many good songs I don't listen to any more because they are so overplayed.
Freebird would have to be right up there, but since I have lived in Alabama for the last 15 years, DAMN they play the hell out of that song. |

There is only one song that I won't get tired listening to, but like how Habey said, it all depends on the mood. Everytime I'm alone, I listen to Frederic Chopin's Raindrop Prelude Op. 28, No. 15. I usually put it on whenever I want to go to sleep, but I end up staying awake even longer. Whenever I'm ACTUALLY ready to go to sleep, I have to get up and turn it off.
But it's still nice and I enjoy listening to it over and over and over again. ![]()

Id agree with Aqualung about David Bowie, his newer music anyway, theres some really decent work with Fripp that doesnt get old.
Overplaying songs - "rinsing" as its called if youre biggin it up with da 213 - is something I try not to do. I find that the more cryptic or unpredictable something is, the longer it can last. For example, the jazz pianist Ran Blake is fluid enough to maintain himself, and System of a Down manage to keep quite new for a while. |

Most songs by Everclear, some by Metallica, a few by GNR - especially November Rain. Newer songs that are played over and over on the radio that I still like are Home by Daughtry and Stronger by Kanye West.

![]() There's a LOT of songs I could never get tired of. But a couple that come to mind right now are "Estranged" and "November Rain" by GnR, nearly everything by Nine Inch Nails and Radiohead, also "Yellow Ledbetter" and "Black" by Pearl Jam.

What I can listen to without ever getting tired of it? Well, usually the things I've recently acquired - at the moment, that's Flogging Molly, the happiest music possible. Last week, it was Norther. A month ago, it was Madness - Madness, however, was an exception to the aforementioned rule; it was music I'd acquired ages ago, but I rediscovered it and could hardly listen to anything else for five weeks on end.
