Hi guys, I dont mean to nitpick but Singing and Songwriting are two completely different things.

Songwriting really deals with the music, not the lyrics, because writing music is such an enormous subject in itself. Songwriting is really composing, and singing is just a light subject. Perhaps Lyrics should have their own section, though it may be a rather hot one.

Who said it was the same thing? I don't get it. And as for lyrics having their own section, I don't see many threads at all that talk about writing lyrics specifically, while having nothing to do with other subjects as well, like composing. And it's actually illegal to post a bunch of copyrighted lyrics, if that's what you were thinking of.

I don't think that seperating the forums would be good. They are better together becuase they are in the same are, but they are not the same thing.
