Hey guys, with some friends of mine, we'd like to make up a complete amateur series that would deal with paranormal things, and which would be really influenced by the X-Files.
And for the theme song of this so-called series, I thought about picking an old song of mine (that I posted here before), taking its singing part off, leaving it like an instrumental song. Could you guys tell me if that would do, and if this instrumental song conveys any feeling of paranormal, flying saucers and stuff ?

Well, it's a bit long for a theme song. Most television shows have an intro that is thirty seconds long, although occaisionally you'll get the minute long intros. One thing to consider is to condense the number of measures on each of the little themes.

Actually, if you're planning this to go over the end credits or something, that's actually pretty good. I think it does do a good job of speaking of maranormal things.

Hey, sorry for being away lately, I had a busy week... Anyway, thanks Aqualung for your input !!
Actually I was thinking of shortening it down to 40 secondes or so for the intro, and then like you said, maybe using the whole song for the credits

Anyway, Thanks for your time and for your answer

I know that you posted this a while ago, but I just found it.

You've been posting a lot of music lately...way to go.

Anyway, I agree with what Aqua said about the length of the song, but other than that, I think it was perfect. It is very expressive and fitting. I think that the layers of music go very nicely together. And I love the Acoustic parts that you put in there.

Incredible!
I love the whole thing! The repetive guitar in the background goes well with the guitar. I love the sound of the lead.

You've managed to create a "room" with your music, I'm a big fan of "rooms"
(If you don't know what I mean, it's too bad cause I can't describe it elseway.)
