Rep Power: 46 Trepidation is on a distinguished road

hey. Here is a bit of background information about my band, "Trepidation".

Trepidation is a 2 piece(*) metalcore/thrash/deathcore (with various other genres) band hailing from Brisbane AU that rose from the ashes of Lithium. There are currently 40-50 songs already written and only 3 or so have any lyrics written so far.

Only recently have we started recording, the quality isn't perfect, but we're working on that. We predict to have our first EP finished by late 2008/early 2009, and to have sold our millionth album by early 2010 (hahah only kidding).

A demo of our 66th song (literally) can be found at

or

http://www./trepidationprofile

Have a listen, post a comment and rate, or simply post a reply here on your thoughts/suggestions!

This is just one of our many Demos/Songs to come!

Hi and welcome, Trepidation, I'm sure more members would listen to your music if you posted the mp3's here, or embeded the youtube video in your post.

Really cool. Had a almost medievil feel to it. Around 1:16 in the video, it had lots of static. I really like the end of the song though, neat little outro.

No drums, vocals, bass, synths, etc...

Just overdubbed guitar parts whose tones I find a bit lacking, maybe it's just the poor quality though. But you're probably not a real band, just someone who recorded some stuff at home for fun, so I won't be too brutal with you.

If you're new to recording, keep up the good work and keep learning how to perfect the craft. Best of luck to you.

That's my first thought, too. It can be hard as a two piece band to get all the instruments, but in a genre like this I think it's very important to have a much fuller sound.

I'm in a two piece band that does a similar style and we have everything we need for complete songs. Maybe we're the odd band out though.

Either way, if you guys have a way of putting vocals, drums, and a bass guitar at least, I would recommend it.

The guitarist is pretty good though. You definitely have potential to be a brutal band.

Hey man.
Nice stuff you got going there.
I play bass and I live about 3hrs from Brisbane.
I may possibly be looking at moving next year to Brisbane for an apprenticeship.
I'd be keen for a spot, I added your myspace and stuff so I'll keep in contact.
