I waited for the news of the latest war dead Missing in action from what I read Forgotten, gone, destroyed in a blast First out on the line, Truth had passed Invention of a tyrant, bold and perverse Authority as truth, rather than the reverse So, where is the outrage? So hard to dismiss! Cruel and unusual, but not like this! Honor gone, silently grieving Defying all logic, blindly believing, My truth, my liberty, you will be missed Cease and desist, then cease to exist So, where is the outrage? So hard to dismiss! I liked that talky intro a lot, but after that it just started to sound like a Disney song. It's well-produced and everything, but I don't think a lot of people will take it seriously. I don't think the style was well-picked for the subject matter of the lyrics.
