Hey guys,

I barely had some time to play music lately, I wish I could create as many songs as what I used to do before, and keep up with KMA, but I'm very busy with my studies

Anyway, here's the only thing I wrote in months, that's my special "Hello there" for the KMA community

It's an old song that has been rethought into a more experimental naked sound.

I hope you guys will enjoy it !

I really like the depth of sound on the vocals created by the chorus effect, but all that sound covers up the guitar so much that it starts to sound "muddy". I think if you made the vocals sound "closer" to the listener, they wouldn't have to be so loud and the guitar wouldn't be so indistinct, but I'm not sure.

I like it, but had a hard time hearing all the words. Could you post the lyrics? I like the sound of it, it really sounds like it is something from the 60's.

I thought it was really good. It had a clean and crisp sound to it.

Though I have a couple things worth mentioning. First of all MM is right, the words are muffled to the point where you can't hear them, however they have a really good melody. The other thing was the ending. It was a little long in my opinion for a repetitive ending.

Awesome work though.

Here you go!
Lyrics :

The Truth eventually came to your ears and bled in their hearts
You don't know why, and if all of that is worth of all that pain,
then you...

At night, you really can't sleep
because your mind subconsciouly plays what you heard,
You finally wake up to the sound of how your mom weeps,
so you...

I guess,
I shouldn't be sad and hang up that smile I had on my face
for what it's worth,
That's why the Truth came and brought up its tale
that made the whole thing
Fall Apart...

Thank you for listening and for your positive feedback!!!!

I really like the lyrics. If you look to do anything to the song, making the lyrics stand out a little more may make it more interesting.

Thank you very much RBBP

I know the lyrics kinda sound "away" and somehow "bassy", I'll try to EQ the vocals a bit and make them stand out a bit more.

Here's the original version of the song (that is, the 1st I made), it's quite different from the one I previously uploaded here. Just in case you're curious to hear how it sounded at first.

Have a nice week-end everybody

You too.

I'm liking this song more and more. I really like the lyrics and the retro sound. It just reminds me of The Animals on 1960's TV or a slightly more psychedelic band. Good stuff.

OMG, If I wasn't that broke, I would've donated 15 000 $ just for this compliment

I like this version A LOT better. I think the guitar fits in a lot better with the vocals.

I like that version more then the previous.

It gives the song a little bit more too it with the extra guitar, and it kind of sounds like some piano. I may be off but that's what I hear.
Awesome job.

Thank you guys for your comments!

Well I actually tried to give the song a more "naked" sound, hence the deletion of most of the original tracks. I thought that the singing, taken out of its context would stand out with its melody.

I'm glad you liked even more this original version, thank you so much for listening
