(1)
You let the bread burn baby,
you let the beans go dry.
You let the kids get dirty,
you let the grass grow high.

(cho)
What am I to do with you Honey?
What am I going to do?
You've been gone for a month now Honey.
And my house needs a cleanin' to.

(2)
When will you cook me more bread now Honey?
When will you stir those beans?
When will you wash those kids all pretty?
And cut the grass so keen.

(cho)
What am I to do with you Honey?
What am I going to do?
You've been gone for a month now Honey.
And my house needs a cleanin' to.

(3)
Come on back now Honey.
I'll make it easy for you.
I'll make the kids help with the chors.
and I'll buy you a riding mower to.

What genre of music did you have in mind for a song like this, I am just curious.

It seems solid, maybe add in some guitar. It flows well, and is consistent.

Thank You RickenbackerBassPlayer, I never got the talent to play an instrument. For 40 years I've tried to learn to play guitar, harmonica, and a simple keyboard. But for some reason or other, I just can't seem to get the hang of it. My talent is writing and singing lead. Thank You again

Well if you get the chance to find a guitar player and play/record, then I would love to hear it in the Music Showcase.
